When you surround yourself with creatives, you feed off of their energy. Seeing someone else's work can spark some inspiration. It is okay to try something new, especially if it makes you happy. The Creative Social Hour helps you find people who will give you a little push to be more creative.
The 2nd Creative Social Hour is Friday, November 4th at 8PM. The event will be held at 62 Doors Gallery & Studios, a hidden gem of the downtown area. It is 20s Flapper themed and dressing for the event is encouraged. This is an opportunity to look fancy or dapper in Minot (not many other opportunities)!
The night will be filled with many events. Tori Dany Designs will have a fashion display to kick things off. There will be live performances from Singer Rick Watson, Project X dance group, and DJ Amadis Amaya. Julia Berman and Eli Toledo will do some live painting. There will be food and drinks for all to enjoy. Make sure to use the special Snapchat filter and take pictures at the photobooth. The Creative Social Hour will have a couple photographers and a videographer capturing the event.
The event will be free will donation supporting the MSU Broadcasting Department. Come to support and have some fun! Mix and mingle over creative talk, ideas, and goals.
The Creative Social Hour group on Facebook is created by Tori Srey, a local fashion designer and style blogger. It is a creativity hub to share ideas and open to anyone from anywhere. To get more updates on the Creative Social Hour and Tori Dany Designs, sign up for the newsletter.
